Snowball Fight Cut Out Panel Trifold Card - Sheet 1
A quick Christmas card with a difference! .... Watch my CuP TV video to see how to make this style of card - Episode 21! ........ This card is one of 5 designs out at the moment - to see the others please click on my name ....
When folded together it looks like a DL card (with 3 layers), but opens up to a large card with cut out panels on left and right sides and greetings panel to write on in the centre. Add lots of glitter to make the snow sparkle! Sheet 2 (cup130739_489)
has decoupage layers & greetings panels to add if you wish.
INSTRUCTIONS - Score and fold 4 vertical lines - first along both sides of the central rectangular panel, then cut out white panels to left and right. Cut to separate the Snowball panels from the central panel. Now score and fold above and below both the snowball panels (not through the panels). From left of card, folds should be mountain, valley, valley and mountain - and when closed you will have a card with the cut out panels on top of each other, opening out to the left and right.
Now add decoupage layers and greetings panel from sheet 2.
For a very quick card you don't even need to bother with the decoupage available on the sheet 2 - just add glitter or white Flowersoft - because it all folds together it looks a very different card! But much better if you do add the decoupage!

I simply print on white card stock and cut out the sections as instructed on the sheet. Prior to cutting apart the center sction I also cut out the white portions above and below.
I used snowflakes to hold this section to the top and bottom of the card and then cut the center section apart from the right and left side.
Score the fold lines and you are done. I added snow for dimension on the snowballs themselves.
