Christmas Crescent Moon - Wise Man 8x8Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I printed the sheet provided twice onto satin finished 170gsm white A4 card and used one full image as the main backing sheet and defined the edges with a gold metallic permanent pen before attaching it, using D.S. tape to a white 11.5cm backing sheet with the edges defined using the same pen.

I attached peel off gold glitter stars to each corner and decorative gold peel off strips The main white 200gsm card , is cut at25x12.5cm and scored and folded before I attached the 12.25cm gold foil backing sheet, using red power tape.

I used D.S. tape to attach the other 2 backing sheets. I used the second copy to carefully cut out the crescent moon section, retaining the outer floral frame. I used D.S. pads to attach the crescent moon in place.

Using the outer frame, I backed this with a hollow square of 170gsm backing paper, cut to fit inside the shape of the floral frame, by tracing the shape first and then cutting it out with tiny very sharp scissors.

I attached the hollow frame to the floral frame first using D.S. tape and then used thicker padded D.S tape to attach this topper to the card front.

I completed the insert using Metallic Card 10, cup1070000_96 a design By Anna Babajanyan, with which I have used a cut and paste method to fit exactly to the inside of this card.

I attached the peel off embellishments to the insert before I then used gold dust glitter effects and a fine brush to high light the crescent moon on the card front.
