Karen uses such beautiful rich colours in her designs that I decided to create a background for this design using metallic flakes on a dark card base.

I decoupaged the elements with dimensional glue, added a plain paper insert which I distressed and edged with pigment ink before added one of the additional elements to one side of the insert and also the back of the card.

I finished with peel off borders and a metallic brad. Printing this on gloss photo paper would further enhance the lush colours of this design.
