Red & Gold Valentine

This is one of the cards I have bought to add to my Must Have stash, So stunning , so bright and so, so easy. I printed the sheet onto matte white card and cut out the topper and the heart decoupage. I attached the topper to the red card front 21cm Square and used a gold metal ink chisel nib pen & ruler to draw a 1mm line around the entire edge of the topper to distinguish it from the card front. I used my craft knife down the spine of the card to cut out 5 oval shaped holes, each,1cm in length starting at the card top,at 2cm ,5.5cm,5.5 cm5.5cm and the last hole 2 cm up from the bottom edge.

NOTE I needed to mark these first before actually cutting them.

I used 2 lengths of 6mm red satin ribbon to thread through and tie a bow with all four pieces. For the insert I used Hilary's matching insert Cup 509391_819 and wrote my own verse. Thank You for the design which has made me feel tickled pink (Or Red) with the result.
