Prom Date

I printed this design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and decoupaged the elements. I trimmed the background so that parts of the stars protruded from the edge. I layered the image onto burgundy shimmer paper and mounted it to a white gloss card, leaving space on the right.

To this space I layered a strip of burgundy shimmer paper with a string of pink diamante gems stitched in a curve to it.

Finally I added the balloons on a foam pad at the top of the string to complete the card. This is a striking design which would be adaptable for many different occasions.
