This delightful floral image design by Angela Mills makes a beautiful topper for a quick and easy greeting for so many female occasions.

I have used the sheet purchased to work the images as a decoupage.

I printed the image at 11.5cm square, twice onto the same sheet of 170gsm white satin finished card, and then repeated this once more at the same size.

This enabled me to use one set of images as the main backing sheet, then carefully to cut out the very centrally framed image from one copy and remove the very outer frame from this second remaining image.

I used lace to cover the area of paper printed lace on the main image and also the same area on the image, which has had the outer frame removed.

I attached the 2 completed pieces together using D.S. tape. I made 2 purple backing sheets The lighter purple measures 13.5cm square and the slightly darker purple measures 13cm square and has the edges defined with an even darker purple permanent pen.

The next backing sheet is #10 from the 18 pack of papers by KP Designs, cup1144247_76091, cut at 14.5cm square.

I attached the three backing sheets to the pale purple card front, cut at 16x15cm using D.S. tape. I used padded D.S. tape to attach the prepared section of the topper.

Then using the second set of images, I removed the narrow floral border leaving the centre framed area retaining the floral overlapping images and attached this to the card front using padded D.S. tape.

Using the remaining image, I have cut out the watering can with the main flowers intact and the lower corner flowers to add using D.S. padded tape to complete the decoupage I have completed the embellishments using a purple bow and the peel off sentiment.

The insert with the verse I have chosen is printed onto copy paper and is # 10 from the same 18paper pack, Cup1144247_76091KP, and the outer frame image I have retained then frames the verse.

I have the tiny watering can as an extra embellishment. The mixed purple hues high light the watering can floral display which is the main point of focus. Thank you, Angela, I love this design. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
