Beautiful Cream Roses and Butterflys Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

These beautiful, full blown, cream roses and very bright, eye catching, butterflies, certainly make a statement. A card design by Ceredwyn, for all, and any sentiment to be attached, for just the right occasion. The sheet printed onto good quality card, makes an easy, quick, card, Just as it is presented.

For those like myself who like to make extra work and go the extra mile, I have made this card using three copies, to complete the card, by the step by step method. I made an ivory card, 26 x 13.5 cm and folded it book wise. I made an extra backing sheet in a deep leaf green, 12.5 x 13cm and edged it with a deeper green permanent pen. I attached the backing sheet to the main card with double sided tape. I used the first copy from the sheet provided, and used padded tape to attach this to the green backing sheet. I used fine, delicately designed, silver peel off strips to edge this part of the topper. I used the second copy to cut away and discard the green marble textured backing part of the topper, but, was careful when cutting,to still include the overhanging tiny white flower sprays, and the tips of the butterfly's wings which overhang the edges, and I then, attached this, to the card front.

I then used the third copy to cut out the elements I wanted, to add to the card front, to emphasize the depth and 3 dimensional effect. This included the 2 roses, the attached fern fronds and the 2 butterflies.

I used a pearl green insert and attached the small image from the sheet provided, on the inside, left hand side, with a pale green tiny bow. A beautiful card, I am so happy with.

Thank You so much Ceredwyn. A big Hug
