Lovely Yellow Flowers in Oval Frame Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

A Beautiful soft mix of cream,Yellow and orange hues in an "always favourite"oval frame.

Easy Cutting for a simple decoupage and the backing sheet is already attached.

I printed the sheet onto white matte light card and cut out all the elements. I made a white card, I would have preferred cream, but I couldn't wait to start-29.5cm x21cm.

I cut a backing sheet in a light creamy yellow the same as the card front 15 x 21.5 cm and trimmed it so that it exactly covered the card front( mine left an edge of 2mm all round.I used D.S tape to attach the main topper and the 6mm satin pale orange ribbon horizontally9cm up from lower edge, not attached to the front, but firmly attached with glue stick at the back. I attached the artificial cream lace to the RHS edge of the inside back of the card and rounded the top RHS Corner to continue along the top RHS to the card inside centre. I covered the sticky D.S Tape with a strip of the ribbon.I did the same to the card front,but ommitted the need to cover the sticky D.S tape that showed through & started at the lower edge and came up and around the LHS to the top LH corner. I used D. S Tape to attach the topper to the card front, this covers the lace edge as well. I decoupaged the oval, the bow and the sentiment with thick D.S foam tape. Added a golden /Orange coloured rhinestone to the bow, tiny bows in the same ribbon to where the lace joined at the corners,and slipped through the front ribbon to tie another little bow.
