Birthday Rose Quick Card in LilacCompleted by Gwyneth George

The sheet was printed onto Super Smooth white card and the elements were cut out. The base image was stuck to an A5 base card and this was trimmed to fit.

The side, paper ribbon, element and the main base image were stuck on using 1mm deep double sided foam tape.

I shaped the flower pieces over my fingers to give them some dimension before using the same foam tape behind their centres to attach to the flower on the card.

I finished off the card by going round the edge of the petals on the paper ribbon as well as the main image with a Sakura Clear Stardust pen.

I also added some drops of Sakura Clear Glaze to a few of the rose petals to simulate dewdrops which adds to the look of the card and also gives more dimension when you run your fingers over.
