Easter Egg & Chick Pyramid TopperCompleted by Christine Wolfe

Card making is a bit of a new venture for me and I thought I would just try a few cards from CUP to see how easy it would be to print them out and make them up.

The Project was printed onto 160gsm A4 white card, purchased from Hobbycraft. The Scalloped Edge Topper was a little too large for a 6x6 card blank, so I decided to use a Papermania 8x8 Kraft card blank. The topper was stuck onto the blank, using UHU All-Purpose Glue.

The sentiment banners and pyramid layers were cut out from the A4 card using a Gyro-Cut tool and attached to the topper using discrete blobs of silicone glue.

Although the Hobbycraft card was thick enough for the topper, the other elements might be better on more weighty card. In future, I will try using photographic paper to print onto.

The card was finished with an insert made from the white Hobbycraft card.
