Present For The Snowman Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionI have been able to print this sheet supplied twice onto the one A4 white120gsm sheet and use one of the copies as the main backing sheet.
I have cut out the main image and used D.S. tape to attach it to a 14cm square white backing sheet which I have edged with a metallic green pen.
I used the ribbon to attach across the front of this topper 5cm down from the top edge and secured the ends at the back of the white backing sheet.
I have used D.S. tape to attach this to the main 14cm square ivory coloured card front.
I have used the second copy of the main image to cut out the log cabin, retaining the snow area below the cabin which includes the snowman and the little child.
I have attached this into position over the ribbon using Padded D.S. tape and squares. I have made the bow and used red power tape to attach it and used one of the sentiments from the group which was supplied with the sheet.
To complete the insert, I have attached using D.S. tape a green with white swirl sheet cut at 13.75 x 13.75.
On the right hand side of the insert, I have attached the discarded frame from the second sheet, which still has the corner pine cone embellishment, over the top of the sheet I have printed the verse onto.
I have then attached this part of the insert using D.S. tape.
I have also made 2 small gift cards from red card cut at 11x 6cm and attached the small images supplied with the sheet.
This has made a delightfully warm fuzzy bright Christmas greeting card. I will be able to use this many times as a quick card and also as a decoupage. Thank you, Ceredwyn, I am sending you a Christmas hug. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus
