Little Girl with Christmas BaublesCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

Thank you Ceredwyn, for this cute little girl carrying a Christmas bauble topper sheet, I have made a really cute main card with an insert, two small gift cards and envelopes for each of them to include in my Christmas stash.

The main card measures 29cm x 14.5 cm and is a smudged look, all over gold and cream print, which I scored and folded.

I printed the sheet supplied onto a light white card twice and used one main image to attach to a 14cm square Christmas green red and white fine stripe backing sheet, using power tape.

I attached the ribbon across the centre front horizontally and secured it at the back of the striped backing sheet and then used the red power tape to attach this to the front of the card.

I used the second image to carefully cut out the complete blue circle, keeping intact the presents, the shoes and the fluffy pompom and a section of the top snow.

I attached this to the card front using padded D.S. tape.

I also was careful to retain the full frame as I have used it as part of the insert. I burnished the gold fine line peel off strips with a red pen before attaching this to the outer edge of the main card front.

I used a red peel off sentiment on white card to mount onto padded squares to attach the lower front of the card front and attached the bow.

I have used the frame on the right hand side of the insert and cut the verse, I had printed from the free Christmas verse for friends section, by Janyce Cotteril, to be slightly larger than the inside of the frame to fit perfectly under the little heads at the corners of the frame.

I have used the same backing sheet on the left hand side and added a gold Christmas sentiment.

I have made an envelope to fit this card from the same backing paper, and I used the same backing sheet to make the gift cards where I have used a small image and a sentiment on the front of each of the gift cards.

I have used a lighter striped Christmas paper to make the envelopes for the 2 gift cards. I have been able to make economic use of the one purchase and I am very pleased with the completed project.
