Boofle selfie ChristmasCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

It was about time, I made a cute, or comic and appropriate Christmas greeting card to add to my postal list for 2018, and this cutie certainly fits the bill.

A cute, easy, cut out and paste design, or use a little imagination.

I printed the sheet provided by Susan, twice as I wanted to use the pair of Boofles as the decoupage.

I used a dark, bright blue snowflake main card cut at 26 x 13cm and defined the edges with a gold metallic pen before making up the topper.

The largest backing sheet is silver cut a 12.25cm x 12.25cm and edged with a red pen, attached to this using D.S. tape is the 11.25cm square white backing sheet.

I then attached the main image, using D.S. tape to attach this to the front of the topper, then adding the gold peel off strips, and also attaching the red ribbon horizontally across the front and securing it at the back of the silver backing sheet.

I attached this topper to the card front, before using vellum roller tape to attach the acetate snowflake embossed sheet I had cut at 10.25x 10.25cm, to the front of the card over the red ribbon.

I used the second copy of the Boofles to attach using padded D.S. tape and used the sentiment, from us both.

To complete the insert, I have left the right hand side blank for my own personal message and added some elements from the spare copy and some peel offs.

I had printed the snowflake backing sheet on both sides of the main card, so I did not need to add extra weight with a separate insert sheet to help with posting costs.

A delightful card, I know I will use this many times over. Pamela Horton. The whispering Platypus.
