Beautiful Nutcracker Cottage , Gold

A Soft Delightful Homey style Christmas card from Ceredwyn Macrae. I love working with, and making, her designs. I made a purple main card 30cm x 15cm, folded book style. Then I made the topper in a deep mustard. 14.5 cm square, attached to the front and back of this mustard card,with double sided tape, a gold satin 1cm wide x 50cm long, ribbon , 5cm up from the lower edge of the mustard card. I used padded double sided squares to matt this to the purple card front. I printed the topper from the sheet onto pearl ivory paper, cut around the edges and mounted this with a glue pen onto a gold, matt, textured, core card, 12.5 x 13cm. I then used double sided padded mounting tape to attach this to the mustard backing sheet. The pearl paper copy gives a very misty, gloss to the finished card. It does not show up so well in the photograph as misty. However it is beautiful and was well worth the effort to use this pearl finish for this topper.
