Beautiful Lilac Christmas BracketCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionHere is a very quick easy topper with some extra embellishments to use if you wish. Simply print onto your choice of size and type of card and using D.S. tape attach it to the card front.
Choose a verse from the free Christmas list and attach this to the insert section and the card is finished in around 10 minutes.
I have made several of these in a variety of colours, and as always with Ceredwyn’s design, I have a perfect result every time.
If you have the time to enjoy making the point of difference with your card making, here is the finished card I have completed today using this same sheet supplied.
I printed the sheet twice onto light weight card. I made the main card using a pale purple gingham printed onto both sides of an A4 white card. I then cut it at 14.5cm high and scored and folded it.
I made a 14cm square white backing sheet and defined the edges with a pale purple permanent pen.
I used the same pale purple gingham cut at 13.5 cm square to attach behind a pale purple card cut at 12.5cm high x 11cm wide and using D.S. tape attached them together so that the top left hand corners matched and the purple card matched the left hand side missing the last 1cm.
I cut out one copy of the 12.5cm square main image and used D.S. tape to attach this to the backing sheets.
I have used a purple glitter embossed organza ribbon and a silver ribbon to attach across the front of the topper, 4.5cm up from the lower edge of the white backing sheet and secured the tails at the back before using D.S. tape to attach this completed topper to the card front.
I used a silver metallic pen to define the edges of the pale purple gingham main card. I used the second copy to remove the outer frames and retained the central bracket. I have used padded D.S. tape to attach this in place.
I cut out the lilac holly sprays and attached these using padded tiny squares and dots. I tied organza ribbon into a small bow and secured it using red power tape at the top right hand corner using the silver ribbon as part of the embellishment.
To complete the insert I have used a previous purchase, cup812603_719, Vintage Father Christmas Insert 1, a design by Sandra Carise, and cut it across the centre to make it fit and added a paper ribbon strip, bow and jewel as embellishments and used some of the extra sprays of lilac holly and the sentiment with some extra embellishments to give the card a happy feel.
I used my silver glitter glue to add to the lilac holly sprays, also as extra embellishments. I have had a lovely happy day making this card, so I hope you like what I have done and enjoy what a point my point of difference can make.
