Modern Vintage Bells Quick CardCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

The vintage look ivory card, I used, is finished size front 15cmx20.7cm.I cut out all the elements and made a backing sheet of matching red craft card 14.6 x20.5 and used D.S tape to attach it to the card front. I attached the red,gold edged 1cm wide satin ribbon (the top edge at 4.2 cm from bottom blue edge,to allow room for the sentiment. I left this ribbon loose at the front to tie the bow later. Then D.S taped this main topper to the red backing sheet which is already on the card front. I used D.S Foam tape to mount the bells in turn onto the arch adding the extra elements to each bell using D.S foam dots. Starting with

1.the.very bottom blue bell

2.the next blue bell

3.I used 2 layers of D.S Foam Tape under the corner that is over lapping the 2nd blue bell

4. and also on the top bell where it is over lapping the ivory bell.

I Highlighted the red bell decorations with home made bling** and red alcohol pen .

I then used D.S Foam Tape to attach the finished topper and the sentiment. I used the same ribbon to tie a bow above the sentiment and slid it along to where it sits and used a glue dot to hold it firm.

Hint 1. Edge each bell with a matching ink or pen before attaching

Hint 2. Home made bling**. On a glass sheet or acetate place small drops of any glue that dries clear, leave overnight and colour with alcohol pen when completely dry, flick off with a tooth pick, use glue pen to attach to your work
