Snowman with His Candy Cane 2Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This delightfully cute card front is perfect to send to a loved one for Christmas and one you would love to have received in your own mail at Christmas Time.

I printed the sheet supplied, by Ceredwyn, twice as I wanted to use the extra copy as extra dimension in a decoupage effect.

I have cut the main white card at 29.75cmx15cm and used a blue metallic pen to define all the edges and then scored and folded it.

The red 14cmx9.5cm and 14cmx4.5cm blue backing sheet pieces are joined together and then the gold textured ribbon is attached across the join and secured at the back before this backing sheet is then attached to the card front.

I have then attached the decorative peel off gold strips round the edges of the backing sheet. The main image is attached using D.S tape to the card front.

I have then used the second image to cut away the star background keeping intact the top corner decorative pine cone and berry images.

I have attached this to the card front using padded D.S. tape. I attached the matching gold ribbon bow and the sentiment from the sheet. I have used cup1006356_719 a design by Sandra Carise, Christmas green Flourish Blank Insert, as the 2 page insert for this card.

I attached a broad gold decorative peel off strip around all 4 sides on each insert. I have attached the small image supplied with the sheet on the left hand side and a gold Christmas sentiment onto the right hand side.

I have used the second small image to make a gift card.
