The Christmas PuddingCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionThis looks absolutely good enough to eat! I was more than surpised at how amazing this design looked, when I made it into this card, that I have photographed. And to make it even more worth purchasing,it is such an easy card to make.
I printed the sheet twice onto 200gsm white card, and used one copy as the main feature, and from the second copy,I cut out the pudding, including the decorative features for presentation, and then the bows, and the side white ribbon pieces. I attached all these elements with padded tape, and made a backing sheet in the deep green 13 x 12cm. This I attached with double sided tape to the topper. I then used a silver backing sheet, cut at 13.5 x 13cm, to attach regular 2.5cm wide, D.S. Tape, carefully around, the very edges, on the front of the silver backing sheet. I then peeled the backing tape off one edge and liberally sprinkled, silver, flower soft, onto the sticky D.S Tape. I then peeled the next backing tape strip off the next edge and repeated the flower soft sprinkle. I repeated this for the next 2 edges.
I then turned the sheet upside down, onto a flat clean white paper sheet, and pressed down gently on all the edges to make sure the sprinkles were firmly set.
I used regular D.S Tape to attach this silver backing sheet to the white card front, which measures,15cm square.
I was then able to use padded D.S tape to attach the topper to the card front. This helped keep the green backing sheet away from the glitter flower soft and give more definition to the topper.
For the Insert, I used the "Christmas lace Effect", cup813034_79993 designed by Clare Walker. I adjusted the colour range of the original sheet, to enrich the green tones, and cut it to fit the inside card area. I used one of the sentiments and the small gift card size picture on the left hand side. On the right hand side, I used a glitter, peel off Christmas greeting.
A beautiful, stunning design from, Ceredwyn Macrae. Another master piece, I will use this deign every Christmas. Thank you!
