3 Purple floral butterfly sentiment card fronts/toppersCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I have used the sheet provided by Stephen Poore to print twice onto the same A4 white, satin finished, 170gsm photo paper.

I used one sheet to cut away the butterfly to retain and use as decoupage for the topper and cut away the main frame, including the mauve flowers as part of the second insert section.

I used the other image as the main backing sheet as the base for the topper. I liked the mauve theme and made a mauve, delicate pastel coloured spotty backing sheet, using cup986138_21027, cut at 13cm square.

I defined the edges of the white card front with a mauve metallic pen. I attached the main image onto the mauve ribbon, then onto the 12.5 cm white backing sheet, then onto the mauve backing sheet using D.S. tape.

I wrapped the ribbon around and secured the tails at the back, before attaching this topper onto the card front.

I attached the bow, using red power taper and the reserved butterfly using silicone glue. I have made an insert in dusty pink as the first page and attached one of the gift cards. The inside insert I have used the reserved frame, a small image and attached the verse I have chosen.

I was able to make 2 more separate gift cards with the remaining small images. The beautiful image and meaningful message have brought an extra dimension to the finished greeting card. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
