Music Maker

I have made this card for my Grandson who turns 21 in November, and as he has beenand still is, in a band since a very young age, I have been looking for a card design which he will really appreciate and as he plays lead guitar, this is absolutely perfect.

I have used a 24 x 15.5cm deep mustard textured card for the main card and attached to this a black backing sheet that has sound waves in white and attached gold peel off strips to the edges before attaching the plain 14.5 x10.5 cm black backing sheet, using padded D.S tape.

I didn’t have a gold backing sheet to use so instead used a gold metallic pen to colour a 13.5x 10cm white card and attach it to the card front using padded D.S. tape, and used decorative black peel off strips on all 4 sides.

To embellish the main larger element I then used a gold fine line metallic pen to define the edges and attached this to the card front using red power tape.

The smaller image of the main element I then attached using padded D.S. tiny squares. I have used peel off embellishments in gold with white backgrounds to complete the card front. I have not shown the insert as I have my personal verse and message inside the card.
