Starry Night

I started out by downsizing the design to fit a 5x5 card with a nice size edge around it.

I chose a green shimmer card over a dark blue one for this project to make it more "summery".

I printed & cut the main design 4 times - I used one complete main and cut just the frame 3 times.

I did this because I wanted a 3D effect on the frame without it being flimsy!

Then I went in with some "glossy accents" clear glossy medium to pick out the light bulbs.

While those little accents were drying, I stuck the extra frame layers together, then coloured the inside edges with a grey alcohol marker (you could also use a brush pen, propably the better choice).

I finally adhered the extra frames to the main design, then coloured the outside edges with a grey alcohol marker.

I didn't want a sentiment on the front as I didn't want to cover any of the beautiful painting. Plus I wanted to stay flexible - I know whom I will be giving this to, but not yet on what occasion!

So it's all going to be on the insert, which I used the jar of glow worms on.
