Here is a delightfully easy card design by Stephen Poore to suit those rev heads you wish to help celebrate a special occasion such as birthday, graduation, thank you and the sometime, just because.

I have used it as a birthday card for a very special friend and to celebrate his new found red speedster.

I printed the sheet provided three times onto 170gsm white satin finished card and used one image as the card front and the second full image to form the insert.

I made a red card from 200gsm card cut at 28x14cm and scored and folded it before attaching the black 13cm square backing sheet using red power tape.

I attached the royal blue peel off strip around the perimeter of the black backing sheet.

I cut out the main image from the first sheet and defined the edges with a fine line permanent black pen and attached it to the 12cm square royal blue backing sheet using red power tape, the corners of which I have corner cut for extra interest.

This topper I have then attached to the card front and used the smaller elements provided to attach using padded D.S. tape, I have reduced the grey shield wording and the No1 smaller blue shield to suit.

To make the insert, I have chosen the verse from the free verse section and printed it onto white copy paper.

I then used blue copy 80gsm paper to cover the cut out main image and using the soft hued pale blue grey vellum paper. to give the misty effect, to photo copy the image.

I was then able to reprint this with the verse in the correct position.

I have added the flags and the Happy Birthday peel off as extra embellishments. I have added the grosgrain 2cm ribbon and small bow as an after- thought. Thank You Stephen, I love this design. Pamela Horton The Whispering Platypus.
