Blast from the Past
A Black/grey and white edition of a blast from the past ... showing a biplane, the telephone box, old car, a space man from that magical moment we saw on our black and white television as he stepped foot on the moon.........memories.
This is quick to make and I have made easy cuts leaving in the background where necessary. The background is a handwritten letter which was before emails! There is a birthday tag and a blank tag. This looks great with silver peel offs for embellishing.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded a 5 x 7 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I printed this out 3 times onto matte photo card to provide extra decoupage layers, then cut out all the elements.
I mounted the main image onto silver card, then onto a black pre-folded card.
I layered up the design using silicone glue and sticky pads, mounting the final layers of the car and tv onto silver card.
I backed the sentiment with silver card and attached it using sticky pads.
