WOW. This really is a fabulous stunning card when made up. Loads of opportunity to really bling it. I have tried to go for the more reserved elegant look. I printed out onto glossy photo paper, then cut out all pieces very carefully especially the hanger on the dress.

I created a hang over (front of card is narrower than back)and adhered the main piece to the front with DST.

I built up the decoupage with 3D fixers and added the 40 numbers. To emphasis the edges I chose silver edge peel off's. On the inside back of the card (the bit you see from the front) I used corner peel off's and gems to match.

On the background off the main piece I used a cocktail stick to add silver glitter to lightly emphasise the silver swirls and added gems on the nodes of the swirls.

I also lightly caught the edge of the dress bottom and the top and straps. This card really does look stunning. A very stylish card for a 40th B'day.
