Framed Lady
a great card for older ladies

When I first chose this sheet to download, I wondered about the effect of having an almost green card, however once I had completed it,I was delighted at the depth and elegance of the 3D effect Heather has been able to achieve in this design. I bagan with a pale mauve card 29.5 x 21 and made a backing sheet 14.3cm x 20.3 cm in a dull green, 2 shades darker than the the top of the outside edge of the
frame.I printed the sheet onto white light weight card 180gsm and cut out all the elements. I used d.s tape to attach the main topper to the backing sheet and attached the ribbon over the topper and backing sheet on the LHS & secured it at the back with sticky tape. This I then attached to the card front with d.s tape.
I then cut the entire frame as one piece off the second topper and also the lady and parasol as one complete piece. Both of these I attached using thick foam d.s tape and dots.I added rhinestones in dark green to the corners of the frame and light green to the neck of the garment and the hat. I used a tooth pick to add tiny pearl drops to the adornments on the frock and to various parts of the frame. The sentiment I used double layers of thick foam squares to raise it above the frame. It certainly makes an eye catching card to display this elegant lady
