This design is great for the fussy teenager

I printed off 2 base layers for the decoupage

I stuck one to the front of the card and carefully cut the aperture

then i matched the second base layer to the aperture and stuck firmly to the insert sheet of the card

I decoupaged the main picture over 3 layers - using the gems to edge the insert sheet

I then decoupaged the front of the card and used more gems to edge

Using extra pieces cut from the printed sheet I then added a couple more butterflies and placed another 'chic' in the corner of the picture just to give depth
