Pink Roses 0n a Double Frame

A beautiful Rose as the main feature, just opening from the bud. I made good use of the double frame offered in this design

I printed the topper twice onto white 200gsm card and measured backing sheets for both frames. I made a pink backing sheet for the lattice frame 12.5cm x 12cm, attached the frame with red power tape, and cut away the pink centre with a craft knife, leaving the lattice frame free standing. I then cut a mustard shade backing sheet, the same size 12.5cm x 12cm, and again using a craft knife, I cut away the mustard centre, but leaving 3mm visible on the inside of the frame. I then attached, a length of lace and pink grosgrain ribbon across the lower edge of the remaining central art work, half way across where the bow sits.

I made a backing sheet, 13x 12.5cm, for this in the same pink card I also planned to use for the main card. I attached this main focal art work with the lace and ribbon using power tape to the pink backing sheet, and then with the same tape onto the card front 13.5 x 13cm.

I used padded double sided tape to attach the prepared frames, and used the second white 200gsm copy to cut out the main rose and the bow, keeping some of the leaves intact.
