HYACINTHS & TEDDY BEAR QUICK CARD: 7x7, With Easy Decoupage, For Birthdays/Mother`s Day
This cheerful 7x7 quick card front sheet features a vase of blue hyacinths and a cute teddy bear. Teddy bear decoupage and floral decoupage are included, but this design can also be sent as a quick and simple card front if you prefer.
There are also four sentiment tags, making it suitable to send for a range of female occasions, as well as birthdays and mother's day.
Finally, like all my designs, this card comes with small-scale commercial use, meaning that you can sell anything you make with it, whether on CUP or anywhere else. Have fun with this card!

Beautiful blue hyacinths, have the most glorious perfume, and send a very nostalgic memory from myself. I used to be able to grow them prolifically and give the picked flowers as gifts. This hot climate is not friendly like the bears, and so a card will suffice instead.
This is a very cute, quick decoupage design by Clare, and I printed the sheet supplied onto CB matte 280gsm white card, then cut out all the elements, in preparation for making the topper.
I made the main card, which measures 29cm x 14.5cm, in an ivory very fine print. I attached glitter gold peel off strips to the 4 edges. I set this aside while I put together the backing sheets.
The largest backing sheet is a matte textured dark blue and measures13.5 x 13.5cm, and I have coloured the edges, using a ruler as a guide, with a gold metallic marker pen.
The next backing sheet is a cream 12.5cm square card, and I have coloured the edges with the metallic gold pen.
I used padded D.S. tape to attach this cream card to the blue backing sheet.
The next backing sheet is a dark blue, but 2 shades lighter than the largest backing sheet and measures 11.5cm square.
I coloured the edges of this using a dark blue permanent pen. I then attached the gold organza and satin 2cm wide ribbon across the front of this smaller blue backing sheet, 1.5cm up from the bottom edge.
Using D.S. tape I attached this backing sheet to the cream and dark blue backing sheet, and wrapped the ribbon around to the back fastening it with D.S. tape.
I then used a dark blue permanent pen and a ruler as a guide to colour the edges of the main element, and attached the stamp stained 10cm doily to the top left hand corner of the main element, before attaching the topper to the backing sheets, using D.S. tape.
I used gold glitter peel off strips around the frame of the main image. I then attached the completed topper, using padded D.S. tape on the back of the largest blue backing sheet. I then used small padded D.S squares to attach the hyacinths and the teddy in place.
I made a simple onestep bow in the same gold ribbon and added the sentiment to the top right hand corner and the bow to the left hand side using D.S. tape to attach both.
The insert is the cup827619_79993, Botanical leaf in Blue, and I have cut it 0.5 cm smaller that the card measures and attached 2 golden yellow rectangles for the stick on bears, and sentiments I have written.
The space left is for the verse, and my personal message.
Thank you so much Clare for your beautiful art work, and design for the card and the insert. I am sending you a big hug. Pamela Horton
