Beautiful Vase of Summer Flowers Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

A beautiful Vase of flowers suitable for all female occasions, sympathy, Spring ,Easter, Thank you and many more. I used a step by step method in the making of this card. I printed the sheet supplied twice onto Crafty Bob's Gloss 200gsm white card. ai used the first copy as the main topper, and with the second, I cut out the main feature and used double sided padded tape to attach it to the main topper.

I used a 3.5cm wide bronze, gold organza ribbon to wrap around the base of the vase and tied a bow, attaching it at the back with magic tape. I made 2 extra tails for the bow, and attached them with the red double sided tape.

I then made the card 30cm x 16cm in a shade of purple that is in the 2 smaller pansies. I edged it all round the opening edges with a sliver permanent pen. I made a backing sheet from the same shade as the stitched section of the surround for the flowers 12cmx13.5cm, and used the same silver pen to edge a, four sides. I attached this to the card making sure the top Right hand corner was 3cm in form the sides and the lower left hand corner was 3 cm in from the left hand side. I then used the padded double sided tape to attach the completed topper, 2cm down from the top, and 2cm up from the bottom. To centre it, I made sure there was 1.5 cm of the purple card on each side as well. I used the someone special sentiment. It has made a very versatile beautiful card.
