Beautiful Roses on a Kadare Mat 1Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

Ceredwyn Macrae has thrilled me again with this beautifully simple easy to put together card topper with elements. The roses and bow are so realistic . I made a pale pink card 28cm x 15cm folded. I then continued the backing sheets dark olive green card 13.5x 14.5cm., pale pink 12.5 x13.5cm. burgundy card 12.00 x 13.00 cm. I completed the backing sheets by adding 3 rows of burgundy ribbon (6mm) to the bottom edge, allowing a 1.00cm. gap between, and attached them firmly to the back of the olive green card. Then using Crafty Bob's magic double sided padded roll, I attached these to the pink main card. I used Crafty Bob's Gloss card to photo copy the topper and elements, I cut out all the elements, edged the roses with a deep pink ink pad, the bow pieces with a slightly lighter pink and attached them all together with smaller double sided padded square. I didn't have the correct colour gems, so I recoloured them with a permament ink pen and then attached them, and also a small square silver glitter gem on to the bow. I inked around the sentiment, and used the universal "Just for you sentiment". I really will have trouble parting with this one. It turned out so well
