Beautiful Blue Bird and Roses Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

For Ceredwyn to keep up the volume of wonderful designs for us to purchase, through Craftsuprint is our good fortune, and thank you for that opportunity.

I printed the sheet onto 200gsm matte paper from Crafty Bob, twice. I used the first copy of the topper, to mount, using padded tape, onto an ivory card, 13x12cm. I edged both the topper and backing sheet with a blue permanent pen.. I made another backing sheet in a matte gold card, 14cm x 13cm, and attached this with double sided tape. I made a white card, 27 x 14cm, folded it, and edged it with the blue pen. I wrapped a royal blue satin ribbon, 1cm wide around the topper and the 2 attached backing sheets,

4 cm up from the lower edge, of the gold backing sheet, and used the red power tape to attach them to the card front, and tie a bow on the left hand side. This in itself, just using the topper, makes an absolutely beautiful easy card. But you would need to adjust the ribbon, so that it would sit vertically with the bow in the right hand corner.

With the second white 200gsm copy, I cut away the blue lattice frame, and used padded tape, to attach the remaining gold framed main feature, of the art, to the front of the card. This also makes and absolutely beautiful card, without any extra work or effort.

However as I love to use a step by step method, and to go that extra mile, just for the love it, I decided to print a copy onto good quality copy paper, and mount the elements of the blue bird, the 3 roses and the foreground flower spray feature, onto the scraps left over from the white 200gsm card, carefully cut around them, and use padded tape to attach them. This is the third way this card can be made, each time adding more dimension.

I then used the copies of the small image left over to add to the insert and to make 2 small gift cards. What absolutely wonderful value from a single purchase.
