Beautiful Anemones on a Double MatCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

A pair of beautiful pale anemones, for us to work our magic with. Thank you Ceredwyn. These 2 allow a choice for the card maker. That is to simply use the main one as a card front, or to use both elements in a step by step method.

I printed the sheet supplied onto a white 200gsm card, and using the full card front attached this to a pale, pastel pink card 13.5 x 1cm, with padded tape squares. To the back of the pink card , I used magic tape to attach a 9" doily allowing 2cm to be visible on the left hand side, and then I used a 2.5cm wide white organza and satin trimmed ribbon to wrap around the three items, slightly scrunching the doily and tying a double knot in the ribbon. Before I attached the next top element, I used, an off white paper lace to attach to back of the pink backing sheet, with very narrow double sided tape. I then attached this using double sided tape to the main pale pink card 24x 15.5 cm.

The last element I then attached with padded tape and added a rhinestone gem to the top centre of the bow. The off white lace trim and the organza ribbon tie in all the shades in the floral design, and allow the shades of pink to peek through as I had intended. Thank you for the design, Ceredwyn. A big hug
