The design was printed on smooth white card and the parts cut out. I used glossy accents on the skateboard, shoes, buttons and eyes. I cut a rectangle of backing paper,cup293855_846, a bit larger than the main image, using pinking scissors and distressed a little with a gingerbread coloured ink.
I mounted this at an angle, on a prepared maroon coloured A5 bookfold card using DST. The main base image was mounted on top at a different angle using DST. The topper and skateboard were added with 2mm foam. The card was embellished with mini silver nail heads in the corners of the main image and black card candy in the corners of the backing paper.
The Happy Birthday label was added with foam tape in the upper right corner, to complete the card. Simple to craft and looks really effective. A great card with attitude for all those tweens and teen-agers, including skateboard fans.
