Printed the page onto a quality matte photo paper and cut out all the elements. Shaped the flowers and the wild seed pods. Tied some natural raffia and using tacky glue I attached the raffia to the right side of the card. Then attached the next layer with the hen.

I used silicone to attach the flowers and seed pods to maintain their shape. Yellow stickles was used to accent the centres of the flowers that adorn each corner and also dabbed on to the grass tops to add some pop to the background.

I used a clear star pen to accent the bee’s path and also on the straw bed that the hen is resting on.

I used a bit of glossy accents to enhance the hen’s eyes. Added the sentiment “Happy Birdday”.
