A card front to fit an 8inch square card blank, which has a white background edged with a black border.
There is a black lace panel down the right hand side, embellished with black and white ribbons and a white flower.
To the left is a white rectangular layered topper, embellished with a white flower and lace, and containing a 40th birthday greeting in gold.

The image was printed on 160gsm smooth white paper, reducing the size by half. The image was mounted on gold mirri card and then black card and attached to a 6 x 6 inch card using dst.
The decoupage element was added using glue gel.
Black flat backed gems were added to the centre of the flowers.
Printed out and cut out all the elements. I placed the base image onto a white 8 x 8 scallop edge card using d.s tape and then added the remaining pieces using foam pads.
