Pink First Birthday CakeCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

The design was printed on glossy photo paper and the elements cut out. The main image was matted on pink pearlised paper with DST and cut round leaving 0.75cm border. I attached white lace and a narrow pink satin ribbon across the centre of the card, using DST.

I mounted this on a scored and folded, pink dotted, white A4 card with DST. Glossy accents was used on the candle and cake decorations, and yellow stickles was added to the flame. I layered with 2mm and 3mm foam for a nice 3D effect The "1 today" label was added with 1mm foam. and 2 antique rose mini gems added.

The card was completed with 2 mini pink satin bows and antique rose gems on the lace and large pearl hearts in the corners.

This is a lovely pretty pink, feminine card for a baby girl's first birthday.
