Having completed the insert I printed this onto 120gsm paper and mounted it onto brushed gold card leaving an 8th of an inch border around the base layer and text plate and a 1mm border around the centre design.
I mounted the base layer onto an 8" square card using dst, then added the centre design and text plate using 1mm foam pads.
printed this card and cut it out used pearlized off white card for this used DST and stuck on the base rounded the corners of the card used mounts for the topper and for the sentiment added diamondizes to the corners and some sparkle stuck on the insert with DST and added Happy birthday.
