3 Stag scene card fronts/toppersCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

Occasion
Birthday / Birthday Animals

The image of the stag with the snowy mountain background, lilac blossoms and blue bells is very suitable for Christmas, which is what I have done with the main larger card.

I have used the other smaller images, as the notes by the designer suggested, for Birthday, Christmas and With Love.

I printed the sheet supplied twice and used the blue 12.5cm x 8cm backing sheet and green 12.5cm x 4.5cm backing sheet to join together to make this a 12.5cm square backing sheet.

I attached the main image onto the backing sheet and wrapped the ribbon across the join before attaching this to the 14cm white card front.

I attached the pink snowflake peel off strips around the edge of the blue and green backing sheet and the gold glitter peel off strip around the edge of the pink strips.

I used the second copy to remove the outside frame retaining it to use as part of the insert and used the central main image to attach to the card front using padded D.S. tape.

I attached the sentiment and the matching bow.

To complete the insert, I have used cup1006737_659, a design by Lorna Quinney, as the hues in this design match very well and the distant scene of the chalet fits in so well with the theme, and I have used the outside frame from the second copy of the main image to use as part of the new frame for this insert panel.

I have attached the verse onto the right hand side and used the same pink snowflake peel off strip as embellishment.

The smaller images from the sheet I have used to make 4 very different 7.5 x 7cm folded gift cards.

By using different coloured card as backing and different sentiments has shown the versatility of the greeting to be suitable for a male, female and either a sad or happy occasion.

This allowed me to enjoy a very productive and to achieve a very pleasing outcome for my day of card making.

Thank you to Bees bits and Bobs for this delightful design. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
