Art Deco SpringCompleted by Donna Ritchie

I LOVE Art Deco and cannot resist seeing the difference a different colour or finish can make to the same design. I printed this design on matte photo paper and cut out the pieces. I then added the different layers on foam strips before flat sticking my design to the base card. For my first card I used a gloss base card to which I added alcohol inks. Once this was dry I added my completed design. I found this was a little stark and so added the glitter edging strips - very happy with the end result. For my second card I used a dark red metallic gel pen for the border.

These cards are very quick to make and yet always look stylish. If you have time you can change the look yet again by cutting around the shaped top of the card.
