Hello Strawberries 5x7Completed by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

I printed onto 160gsm paper and cut out the parts. I chose to make this into an 8x8 card for one of my grandaughters. I matted the base image to a glossy red linen effect card then attached to the left of an 8x8 white card with DST.

Down the right margin I used red and green striped washi tapes. I layered the round pyramage with 1mm foam , decoupaged the butterflies and added with a spot of silicone gel for shape.

I added yellow stickles to the flower centres and glossy accents to the strawberries for extra gloss and volume.( My grandaughter loves "feely" things.) I attached 3 pink paper die cut daisies in the margin and added pastel coloured satin mini bows in between.

I completed the card with a yellow greeting and a red paper bow over the well. I feel very identified with this strawberries image,as I have several large planters of them on the patio and the grandchildren love hunting for strawberries!

This is a gorgeous, cute design and I think the finished card looks really colourful and will greatly appeal to my grandaughter with plenty of touchy-feely bits!
