Tulip Romance
This is a very striking image. The subject flower is not typically associated with Romance, but the translucent and vibrant colors against the black background gives it an elegant vibe.
It could be given to celebrate many different occasions such as Mother's day, wedding, anniversary or birthday.

I used Serif Drawplus X5 to make this card, which I printed on 160 gsm card. To make the frame I drew lines with a weight of 48 points, and selected four colours from the design. I used them in random order. I grouped the lines, rotated them by 45 degrees, and then drew a rectangle larger than the base of the tulip design. I cropped the lines to that shape. The sections were cut with a guillotine, and the layers raised using sticky pads. For the main card I used an A4 sheet of black card folded to A5 size. This design is bold and the kind appreciated by young people. I added a graduation verse, but did not add embellishments.
