Red Roses & Lace PyramidsCompleted by Gwyneth George
The sheet was printed onto 190gsm glossy photo paper and the pieces cut out. I took an A5, red irridescent card and trimmed a strip off the front right hand side. I stuck the lace ribbon element to a pice of gold mirror card which was just a little wider than the strip cut off. This mounted lace was stuck to the inside back of the card. I put the rest of the paper lace ribbon on either side of an oblong of mirror board as a greetings panel, (which I've left blank for the moment until I know the occasion for which it is to be given), and this panel has been stuck towards the bottom front of the card. The main image was stuck directly to a piece of gold mirror board and trimmed to leave a border. This matted image was stuck directly to the front of the card. The pyramid layers were stuck in place in turn using 2mm deep double sided foam tape. To finish the card off I took a quickie glue pen around the edges of the pettals on all visible layer areas and sprinkled on some fine crystal glitter.
A stunning card I think.
