Lovely Watercolor Poppies Pyramid Topper (pink)Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

The different shades of pink in the 4 different backing sheets, and the white background behind the water colour poppies has given this card front topper to use with the decoupage elements a dramatic and yet romantic appeal.

I have printed the sheet twice onto white card and cut out the 16.5 x 12cm main image from one copy and attached the pink ribbon across horizontally onto the front, 7cm up from the lower edge of the main image, attaching it using D.S tape to the 17x12.5cm white card front.

I carefully cut out from the second copy, the main central image and retained the main outer full frame to use as a frame around the verse I have written, to use as part of the second insert page.

I cut out the 3 elements and attached them using the step by step method and padded D.S. squares and deleting the grey borders as instructed by the designer, Deloris.

I mounted the extra sentiment and attached the matching bow. To make the insert I have used a matching spotty pink background to print on both sides to cut at 23 x17cm and scored and folded it at 11cm in from the left hand edge.

I have attached this onto the inside of the back cover using D.S. tape and then attached the frame and verse.

I have closed this to reveal the 1st page of this 2 page insert and attached the Happy Birthday sentiment and used one of the smaller images to centre on to the same pink spotty background sheet, cut at 17 x 12cm and then attached this to the left hand side of the of the insert.

This allows lots of room for my craft group ladies to all sign their name.

I have then used the remaining images to make a With Sympathy card using the background, cup868998_3656, Poppies and with sympathy, a design by Gaye Robinson and a Thank You card using a pale pink backing sheet and glitter gold peel off strips and a cute gem centred flower.

This design has such a universal appeal I will be able to use it again for so many celebrations. Thank You Deloris, I really love this design. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
