Christmas Dove Pyramage sheet
This sheet will make 2 Pyramage Toppers that are approx 7.5 x 7.5 cm
This design is also available with a Twisted Pyramage topper too.
This design is also available in other coordinating colourways and greetings and together they would make a great set of cards to sell at craft fairs etc.
This design is great for Christmas Cards, New Year Cards, Holiday Cards etc

With this sheet I purchased, I was able to complete the two pyramids of the dove, using tiny D.S padded squares. Then with these 2 completed, I was able to make two entirely different cards, and an insert for them both as well. The design is a 2007 design by Carol Ann Clarke, and this is the first time I have purchased it. The instructions are so easy to follow, and the result a perfect picture of PEACE !
The pyramid is a very easy one to complete and yet certainly makes a statement, made up in a 3D style, it will complement any style of card for the festive season.
For the first white background card, used a textured white, light weight card 13.5 x 14.5, and as I had designed the swirls myself, I used the pattern to the card with 2 of each size around the space, of the 8cm square, I had allowed for the completed pyramid. I used metallic, gold embroidery thread for the swirls, and stitched them at 1-3, for each size. I used glitter gold peel off strips, and the same style glitter gold style, for the sentiment. I added a star, to the inside of each swirl, as well.
I will add an "How To make these Swirls" on my site if you want to copy them. This topper was matted to the main dark blue card front, 16 x 14.5cm with D.S.Tape.
The second card is just as easy once you have completed the pyramid. I attached it, to an even darker blue card, 12cm square. I then used the, Ivory Ribbon, with the Merry Christmas sentiment, in gold script, onto the back of the topper, folding the ends under to reveal the message from the left to the right, and then matted this to the white card front, which measures, 14.5cm square.
I then added heaps of all different sized peel off stars, and some gold glitter strips, and some plain gold peel off strips. I made a small bow, and attached it with power tape.
I made the same insert for each card. I printed off the sheet supplied,onto copy paper, which gave me, several whole pictures of the dove to be able to use, and used one of these on each of the inserts.
The insert main backing sheet,is a copy of a backing sheet, I have had, and kept in my stash, for many years. I copy it, in many colours and sizes, at Christmas time, for wrapping paper, gift cards and of course backing sheets.
