Christmas House A5 Fancy Shield PyramageCompleted by Peggy Stogdill

Occasion
Christmas / Christmas Various

I reduced the size slightly for a 5"x7" overall card and printed an extra copy of the base card on matte photo paper.

I covered the front of my card with some "stash" paper (wrapped the ribbon around the back first and taped it in place) then used dst to attach the base image.

The pyramage layers were added with silicone so I could keep the spaces between the layers very thin. I added some punched branches, and a bit of glitter to the scene.

I love making shaker cards, so when everything was dry, I cut the shield out of my second copy, covered the opening on the back with acetate taped in place, then used thick foam tape to surround the opening on the back (no spaces) and to elevate the rest of this second layer.

Before I carefully lowered it into place, I put a pinch of Polar White Flower Soft and some crystal micro beads in the center of the image.

The sentiment was then glued in place and more branches added to the upper right corner.

Finished with some Flower Soft on the branches, a Stickles outline on the shield, and a bow-oh, and the matching insert.

I love this-I might send it to myself :-)
