This religious Christmas scene has very striking colours which help the image really stand out from the background to make a splendid card front.

I have printed the image twice onto A4 paper as I wanted to use the oval frame as an extra dimension for the lay out.

The second image I have retained the outside frame to use as part of the insert. I made the main 22x 15cm ivory card and scored and folded it and set it aside while I prepared the card front.

I attached the main image to a gold foil backing sheet and used 2 pieces of lace and a royal blue ribbon to attach across the front of the main image, then use D.S. tape to attach and wrap the lace and ribbon around to secure at the back of the gold foil before attaching these two to the card front using D.S. tape.

I cut out the elements from the first copy and attached them using the step by step method using padded tiny D.S. squares.

I attached some glitter silver and gold trimmed peel off strips and added the bow and sentiment supplied.

To complete the insert, I used one of the smaller elements, the frame from the second image and the 1 bow to attach over the sheet I printed the verse onto and then attached this onto the right hand side of the insert section.
