The Snow mans Christmas Tree Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This is a delightfully cheeky pair of snowmen, designed by Ceredwyn. It was easy and quick to print the copy, and cut out all the elements, and then so easy, to make up as a step by step spiral. I used padded tiny D.S. Squares to put the elements together. I made the main card with a Christmas print from my stash, to measure 25cm x13.5cm. I used a bright blue permanent pen, to colour the edges of the front of this card. I made a silver backing sheet, 11.5 x 12.5cm and used red peel off strips, to attach to the outer edges. The next backing sheet is a white card, which measures 10.5 x 9.5cm, and I used the same red peel off strips on the outside edges, of this backing sheet. The next, and smallest backing sheet is a red card which measures 9.5cm x 8.5cm. Before I added the glitter gold peel off strips to the edges, I used a red trimmed ribbon to attach to the front of this backing sheet, 2.5 cm up, from the bottom edge of the backing sheet. I then used padded D.S tape, to attach it to the white, red trimmed backing sheet. I then attached this, onto the silver backing sheet with the same padded tape. I then wrapped the red ribbon around this group of backing sheets, and firmly attached it to the back of the largest silver backing sheet. I was then able to use power tape to attach this to the main, blue edged white card front. I then attached the completed topper onto the card front and made a bow with the same ribbon, which I attached with power tape.

For the insert, I used the same Christmas print I had used for the main card, and added some Christmas bells, and some stars, and the Christmas sentiment. These were silver peel offs that I coloured with the bright blue permanent pen. I have left the right hand side blank to add my personal greeting. To finish the insert, I used the bright blue pen to colour the edges.

This beautiful happy card will give cheer to any receiver. I am truly delighted with the result.
