Steampunk Violin Pyramid

I mounted the base of the design on black paper leaving a tiny margin all around and then mounted this onto a copper/gold pearlescent paper leaving a slightly larger margin as shown in the picture. I then stuck this to a dark brown A5 tentfold card and added the layers with foam squares. I highlighted the stars with a gold metallic pen and finally looped some dark yellow string though the birthday greeting tag and mounted at the bottom of the card with deeper foam squares.

This is a very quick card to make but very striking and the effect can easily be changed by using different colours for the layers.
