Thank you Ceredwyn, for this beautiful pyramid card topper, it was so easy and quick to put together, and has made a stunning card.
A card like this is so useful as it suits so many occasions and celebrations.
I used C>B matte 200gsm to print the sheet provided twice, and used the first copy as the main backing sheet.
I used the second copy to cut out all the elements and the inner blue frame area, to make up the decoupage onto the main image from the first copy.
I used tiny D.S. spots to complete the addition of all the decoupage elements.
I used the second copy to add to the bow as well. I used a mix of tiny royal blue and purple jewellery gems to add around the pearl, I then attached to the centre of the bow.
I made a deep rose pink backing sheet which measures 13.5 x 10cm.
I coloured the edges of this with a royal blue pen and attached a mauve spotted blue ribbon down the left hand side.
I attached this backing sheet to a white card front which measures 14 x 10.5 cm. I also coloured all the edges of the main white card with the royal blue pen.
I used padded D.S tape to attach the completed decoupage, to the main image, and added a royal blue tiny gem and 2 pearls to each corner of the blue framed decoupage.
I made a 3 step concertina fold with a piece from the second copy of the sheet, from the swirly blue, which I cut at 1.5cm wide and 2.25 cm high.
I tucked the back piece of the valley fold under the bottom edge of the main topper, and then used padded D.S. tape to attach this main completed topper with the decoupage intact, to the front of the pink backing sheet.
I then used tiny D.S. padded squares to attach the blank sentiment. The insert measures 21cm x 14cm, and is previous purchase cup808597_117, I used the blue clematis and attached some left over sections from the sheets supplied to make the frame and the floral images.
I am absolutely delighted with the result. Pamela Horton
