Cat Octagon Pyramid 4Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I have used this perfect photo style pyramid topper to make a delightful card, a fridge magnet and a book mark for a dear friend who has a companion cat the image of this delightful photograph.

The main card is ivory and when open measures 30x15cm.

I scored and folded it before attaching the 14cm square gold satin finished gold foil backing sheet using D.S. tape.

I printed the sheet provided onto 170gsm white satin finished A4 photo paper. I cut out all the elements and using D.S. padded tape cut small strips to attach to the back of the pyramid elements to complete the finished decoupage.

To complete the topper, I have added a black birthday sentiment onto a strip of gold foil. The insert, cut at 30x15cm has the verse printed onto a gold delicate floral print and some gold peel off and hand drawn pen and ink cats as embellishments.

To complete the fridge magnet, I have used one of the smaller images supplied with the sheet provided to attach to white photo paper and the same gold foil both cut at 7x5.5cm.

I curve cut the edges of the backing sheets and the cat image and used red power tape to attach all 3 together and then onto the magnet sheet cut at 6x5cm.

I used 3 coats of a 50/50 mix of white glue and water to brush over the top of the image allowing time to dry in between coats.

To complete the book mark, I cut 2 pieces of 170gsm white satin finished photo paper and one sheet of the same gold satin finished foil backing paper at 15x6.5cm then used red power tape to attach the 3 together.

I used gold backing behind the second small cat image and attached this to the gold side of the book mark, then punched the hole before using 3 coats of the diluted white glue, water mix to both sides, allowing drying time in between.

I wrote my special message on the back before usng the first coat of the mix. I attached the gold tassel and the heart button as embellishments.

Thank you for this beautiful image of a tabby cat, the topper was so easy to make and will appeal to all cat lovers.
